51st Annual Cumberland County Scholastic Championship

Location:  Stone Memorial High School, 2800 Cook Road, Crossville, TN

Open to Cumberland County students only and must play in their appropriate grade level.

SECTIONS:

• High School – Grades 9-12
• Junior High – Grades 7-8
• Elementary – Grades 4-6
• Primary – Grades 3 & Below

ALL SECTIONS

Registration: Saturday 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. CST

Must check in before registration ends or you will not be paired for the first round.

Entry Fee: FREE if registered by November 11, 2023. Otherwise $5.00 at the door.

Format: 5 Rounds – Swiss System

Time Control: Game/30; d5

Rounds: 9:00 a.m.; 10:00 a.m.; 11:00 a.m.; 1:00 p.m.; 2:00 p.m.

Awards Ceremony – 3:00 p.m.

Tie Break:

If there is a tie for 1st, a speed game of 10 minutes per side will be played to determine the champion. In all other cases, the systems will be Modified Median, Solkoff, Cumulative, Opp. Cumulative, Median, Kashdan, and Sonnenborn-Berger.
